WHAT DOES IT INVOLVE?

The procedure is quick, easy and painless. Our Spec Specialists team will take a high-resolution photo of your optic nerve, retinal blood vessels, and retina. Each photo taken is recorded and stored for future use

WHY DO I NEED A DIGITAL RETINAL PHOTO?

Digital retinal photography helps to monitor your eye health over time.

Each photo records the current state of your retina, optic nerve and blood vessels. Your current retinal photo can then be compared to the previous one, which will show any changes in appearance.

This helps us to detect eye conditions in the early stages that may not otherwise show symptoms.

This test is especially important for customers with a history of high blood pressure, diabetes, retinal diseases, flashes of light, floaters, headaches and those with a high prescription.
